Case Studies & White Papers
For the customer result that’s been sitting in a spreadsheet for two quarters.
A structured, evidence-led document your sales team can actually drop into a live deal — not a PDF that sits in a shared drive nobody opens.
Who this is for
- You have real customer results and no one internally with time to structure them into something usable.
- A case study gets requested every quarter and never actually gets written, or gets written as a vanity piece sales can’t use.
- You need a white paper that reads as evidence, not a 20-page brochure with a longer word count.
What's included
- A structured interview or source-material review with your customer or subject-matter expert
- A first draft built around a real before/after and the specific mechanism that got them there — not just a happy quote
- Formatting built for how sales actually uses these (skimmable structure, pull-quotes, a clear result up top)
- One structural edit pass to cut anything that reads as marketing filler instead of evidence
- Defined revision rounds (1 / 2 / 3 by tier)
- Delivered as a ready-to-design document, plus a plain-text version for sales to paste into decks or emails
How this one runs
Source review
We work from your interview notes, a call recording, or a short interview we run ourselves, plus whatever data or metrics you already have.
Draft
We structure the piece around the actual mechanism that produced the result — what changed and why — not a generic "challenge, solution, results" template with the details swapped in.
Edit
We cut anything that reads as marketing copy instead of evidence — the version sales can actually use in a deal is the plainer one, not the more impressive-sounding one.
Delivery
You get a document ready to hand to design, a plain-text version for pasting into decks and emails, and your revision rounds to adjust framing.
6 business days
A Midwest industrial equipment distributor
A Midwest industrial equipment distributor had a strong customer result sitting in an internal Slack thread for over a year, with no one able to carve out time to write it up properly. We ran a short structured interview with the customer and their own team, then built the piece around the specific mechanism behind the result rather than a generic success narrative. It was in their sales team’s deck within 6 business days of delivery — the first sales-usable proof document they’d had in three years.

Talk through scopeFrequently asked questions
Do we need to arrange the customer interview, or do you?
Either works — we can run the interview directly if you make the introduction, or work from an interview or call recording you already have. Direct interviews usually produce a sharper piece.
What if the customer won’t agree to be named?
Common, and workable — we can write the piece with the customer anonymized (by sector, size, and result), the same way our own case studies are presented. The mechanism and the result still carry the piece; a name is a bonus, not a requirement.
How is a white paper different from a case study here?
A case study is one customer’s specific result. A white paper argues a broader point (a trend, a methodology, a problem in your industry) and uses evidence — data, examples, sometimes a case study or two — to back it up. Different job, same evidence-led approach.
Can sales actually use what you deliver, or does it need more editing?
It’s built for that specifically — skimmable structure, the result stated up top, a plain-text version made for pasting into an email or a deck slide without reformatting.
Do you design the final document too?
No — we write it and deliver a clean, ready-to-design document (headings, pull-quotes, structure marked). Layout and visual design is a separate step, usually handled by your designer or ours if you ask us to recommend one.
