Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and revisions work for every package purchased through copywriterlabs.com. It applies to all eight service lines and all three package tiers, and is built around one idea: the sooner a project is cancelled relative to the work actually done, the more of your payment comes back.

2. Before we start work

You can cancel at any time before we issue your kickoff brief, or within 5 business days of purchase, whichever is later, for a full refund — no fee, no questions asked.

3. After kickoff, before your first draft

Once your kickoff brief has been issued and work has started (research, scoping, and scheduling), a 50% project deposit becomes non-refundable — it covers the time already committed to your project. If you cancel during this window, the remaining 50% of your payment is refunded.

4. After your first draft is delivered

Once your first draft has been delivered, the engagement is considered complete for refund purposes; no further refund applies. Your included revision rounds remain fully available to you during this stage — cancelling doesn't forfeit revisions you haven't used yet, but it does mean no cash refund is issued for the remaining work.

5. Revision rounds

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds: one at Essential, two at Professional, three at Authority. Rounds must be requested within 30 days of the delivery they relate to. Unused rounds expire at the end of that window and are not refundable in cash or transferable to a different project.

6. Scope changes

Anything beyond what your package includes — more pages, posts, emails, SKUs, or assets than originally purchased — is treated as new scope, quoted separately in writing, and never started until you approve the additional quote.

7. Rescheduling

You may move your project's start date once, at no charge, with at least 3 business days' notice before your original kickoff date. Rescheduling more than once, or with less notice, may require a new kickoff date to be arranged based on studio availability.

8. Custom-quoted engagements

Work quoted outside the fixed packages — larger scope, non-standard timelines, or multi-service engagements — is governed by the terms of your signed quote or statement of work, which takes precedence over this policy wherever the two differ. Ask for the relevant cancellation terms before approving a custom quote if they're not already stated in it.

9. How to request a cancellation or refund
